About

Kuo Jze Yi Architecture Office was established in Hong Kong in 2012 and is the Pd’AA associate office in China.

Kuo is a lecturer and researcher for Architecture and Urban Studies in the Shenzhen University, Hong Kong Design Institute and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His researches focus on Material Poetry, Cinematic Architecture and Rural Urban Development.

Kuo studied at the AA School of Architecture, he has been practicing architecture in both Europe and Asia since 2004.

Kuo joined Pierre d’Avoine Architects in 2005 where he was an integral member of the office collaborating on a range of projects including the Cumberland Mansions Flat, Glastonbury Housing, Rocket Room Residential Tower and Romford Ring Road Master Plan. In 2009 he was a key member of the team on Land Architecture People an exhibition of the work of P’dAA at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen in 2009 and then represented Pd’AA in Italy as project architect on San Salvatore – a house, pool and landscape in Umbria.
